The Siemens 6SE6440-2UE31-1CA1 is a MICROMASTER 440 frequency inverter for supplying and controlling three-phase induction motors, in the version for 3 AC 500–600 V ±10%, 47–63 Hz supplies, without integrated line filter.
The MICROMASTER 440 is the Siemens series designed for the most demanding applications within the MICROMASTER range: it offers vector control to maintain torque and speed accuracy even with varying loads, and is suitable for both constant-torque and square-law torque applications.
At constant torque the inverter delivers 11 kW, with an overload capability of 150% for 60 s and 200% for 3 s; at square-law torque, typical of pumps and fans, it reaches 15 kW. The rated output current is 17 A at constant torque and 22 A at square-law torque.
The device measures 245 x 185 x 195 mm (H x W x D), weighs approximately 5.5 kg, has IP20 degree of protection for cabinet mounting and operates at ambient temperatures from -10 to +50 °C. It is supplied without operator panel (BOP/AOP).
Siemens now lists this part number as a spare part: it is therefore intended mainly for the maintenance of existing systems in which it is already installed.

They have the same 11 kW constant-torque power and the same dimensions, but a different supply voltage: the 6SE6440-2UE31-1CA1 is for 3 AC 500–600 V supplies, while the 6SE6440-2UD31-1CA1 is for 3 AC 380–480 V supplies. They are therefore not interchangeable: when replacing, it is essential to choose the correct version for the system voltage.
