Industry Advice 4.0
A modular maintenance service to reduce downtime and downtime cost, for a Circular Economy.
Custom Maintenance Services
E-Repair has developed a flexible model for the modular management of different maintenance activities (reactive, scheduled, predictive and improvement maintenance), in order to offer its customers custom maintenance based on the characteristics and criticalities of their plants and equipment.
After assessing your plant, E-Repair will be able to provide – with the support of its maintenance department or trusted external maintenance technicians – a maintenance plan aimed at reducing the risk of breakdowns and managing plant shutdowns in no time.

Reactive Maintenance
Reactive, run-to-failure or corrective maintenance, also known as 'breakdown maintenance' includes services such as technical support, repair, remanufacturing and replacement of electronic equipment - with remanufactured courtesy products - after it fails.
Reactive maintenance, therefore, is carried out when a problem occurs, but a custom maintenance plan developed with the support of E-repair can help define operating methods and service standards in advance, so that the equipment can be reinstated and the facility production resumed in less time and for a lower price compared to a standard service.

Scheduled Maintenance
The primary goal of scheduled maintenance is to perform standard checks in order to minimise equipment failure. This activity is defined based on the conditions and the strategic nature of the different electronic components of a plant. It may include, for example, cleaning, data back-up, replacement, repair and remanufacturing of some parts of the plant during downtime, creation of clone products, etc., which can also help to maintain high level production line performance.
Predictive Maintenance
Predictive maintenance is carried out following the identification of one or more parameters that are measured and processed using appropriate tools and mathematical models in order to estimate when failure might occur, so that corrective maintenance can be scheduled before the point of failure.
E-Repair can support companies that use Industry 4.0 or predictive maintenance tools, by providing quick and effective solutions in order to ensure business continuity.

Improvement Maintenance
The purpose of improvement maintenance, which is also known as ‘proactive maintenance’, is to identify and implement actions aimed at improving the equipment, and, in some cases, also at extending the life of a system or its parts.
Maintenance, therefore, is not carried out after failure, but to ensure continuous improvement, usually according to the requirements of a company's medium or long-term strategic plan.
Improvement maintenance may consist, for example, in replacing obsolete parts that are now difficult to find on the market, adding some features to electronic products, updating software or changing some specifications of a production line, etc. In this case, E-Repair, independently or with the support of its partners, can help you select the best option according to the opportunity cost approach.
