2022 is a complex year, on the one hand the pandemic has changed the balance of the market, making company management more complex and the dynamics of production planning and the entire value chain in general. On the other hand, the industries and the Italian economy are facing an epochal change due to the transition to Industry 4.0 and digitalisation. While, the slowdown of the supply-chain in the procurement of semiconductors and microchips, in addition to the shortage of raw materials, in conjunction with the war in Ukraine and the exacerbation of relations with Russia which has triggered a dangerous spiral due to the progressive and uncontrolled increase in gas and energy prices in general forces companies to make new investments necessary for the ecological transition.
After the initial peak of productivity following the lock-down, companies now find themselves managing production intermittently due to the reduction of inventories of raw materials and semiconductors, and also because the cost of energy which by now is skyrocketing has brought down margins significantly, despite having a large slate of orders to fill.
In this context, E-Repair found itself having to put the concept of RESILIENCE into practice, optimizing processes and offering modular services to reduce time, guaranteeing a high standard of quality and at a sustainable cost for the customer.
E-Repair offers services of PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE e.g. Technological Cleaning, Data Back-Up etc. While, to guarantee an immediate restart of production, it offers the contract service of INTEGRATED LOGISTICS, or a dedicated warehouse for sending the clone component, within a few hours of the request. Or, as an alternative to the previous service performs ADVANCE OF A REMANUFACTURED PRODUCT, and tested in our internal laboratories. This service, based on customer needs, could be provided within 24 hours or in standard times.
And to further reduce plant downtime, E-Repair is progressively activating some Service Points: counters for the collection of faulty products and the collection of regenerated ones, will have dedicated warehouses for the delivery of the replacement product within a few minutes of the fault.
In addition to the TECHNICAL INTERVENTIONS at the plants, E-Repair customers can take advantage of remote assistance services, to remotely coordinate the plant maintenance technician in restoring the line.
